MNEMOSYNE Center does not have permanet staff. All the associates are engaged by contract in accordance with recquirements particular projects. In past two years MNEMOSYNE Center has engaged 32 professionals from numerous heritage protection and research institutes.

Associates engaged in the implementation of the current projects are the following: Zlata Jarić, Dejan Radovanović, Mirjana Đekić, and Katarina Dogandžić.

 

 

 

 

 

Zlata Jarić

Architect

Born in Ub in 1941.

Speciality: urbanism, regional planning, natural heritage protection, environment impact studies

Education:
1965 graduated from the Faculty of Architecture in Belgrade
1980 specialist studies in France

Career:
Used to be a member and the secretary of the Commission for Protection of Nature and Spatial Regulation with the Council for the Environment and Outdoor Planning;
A member of the Expert Commission for the Control of General (Urban) Plans with the Ministry of Urbanism and Building
Retired since 2000.

Author of several expert studies.
Associate of several expert organizations and NGOs (Mnemosyne Center, Europa Nostra – Serbia Nostra, Ecolibri-Bionet, Mountain Forum)

 

Dejan Radovanović

Art historian, B.A., conservation professional

Born in Belgrade in 1958.

Education:
1986 graduated from the Department of Art History of the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade

Career:
1989 associate of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Belgrade, Department of Architecture
since 1990 conservation professional with the Archive Research Department of the Regional Institute for Protection of Cultural Monuments in Novi Sad
Member of expert teams in numerous conservation and restoration projects.

Member of the Society of Art Historians of Serbia, Association of Conservation Professionals and the National Committee of ICOMOS.
Associate of Mnemosyne Center since 2001.

 

Mirjana Đekić, M.A.

Ethnologist, conservation professional

Born in Ruma in 1963.

Education:
1988 graduated from the Department of Ethnology of the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade
1999 M.A. degree at the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade

Career:
Since 1988 working in the Regional Institute for Protection of Cultural Monuments in Novi Sad
Participated in numerous projects of conservation of monuments of vernacular architecture.

Author of a monograph and several papers; consultant in several films produced by the Education programme of TV Novi Sad.
Associate of Mnemosyne Center since 2001.

 

Katarina Dogandžić

Art Historian, B.A.

Born in Užice in 1971

2001 graduated from the Department of Art History of the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade

Associate of Mnemosyne Center since May 2003.
